The reason why tipping in Italy is not considered a culture in Italy is because waiters are professional, respectable, and get a good job. Tips in India.
India has grown a lot in the market, and had a lot of visitors from Europe and the USA. Even though tipping was not very common in the past, this has increased the tipping practice in India. In India, you tip when the service is very good, and the tip is usually between 5 and 10 percent.

Japanese Tips.
People in Japan treat those who serve them well with respect, but tips are not common. Tipping is not considered as a bad thing in Japan, because many people are exposed to the western culture.

Tips in South America.
In case a tip is expected in South America, it is often added to the bill’s amount. Depending on the place, the tip might vary in between 10 and 15 percent.
